The New Life Recovery Program (NLRP) is an 18-month residential program, designed to set men and women free from addiction to alcohol and drugs; providing a safe place and individualized recovery plans aiding in the transformation to become the people God intended.
The Good News Rescue Mission works closely with community based partner agencies in this process.
Pre-Program: Readiness observation, general assistance and counseling.
Program Phase 1-3: Breaking away from former lifestyle and mindsets through phase specific assignments and counseling.
Program Phase 4: Applying learned skills and new mindsets towards post-program hopes and dreams, including academic options and work search.
Program Phase 5: During this transitional phase the participants live outside the residence and continue their case management in a recovery lifestyle.
Post Program Support: Ongoing support is available through personal contact with peers and staff at Alumni events.
