HOST A DRIVE
Hosting a food drive or collection is one of the most impactful ways to provide for our community’s most vulnerable men, women, and children. It’s an easy process and gets your community rallying together for a good cause. To host a drive, go to: gnrm.org/host-a-drive
THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS BANQUET HELP
Every year, we hold our Thanksgiving Banquet and Christmas Celebration and feed hundreds of people. We couldn’t do it without the help a few hundred volunteers who serve food, help in the kitchen, manage the pie table, or help as table hosts to warmly welcome our guests. CHRISTMAS BAKERS’ 100 DOZEN
We are looking for 100 bakers to each bake 1 dozen cookies to use as a giveaway at our Christmas Toy Store. Each cookie must be wrapped in a Christmas treat bag with a hot chocolate packet and a candy cane. TOY STORE ELVES
We are having the first-ever Good News Rescue Mission Christmas Toy Store, where parents can sign up to get free, brand-new, unwrapped toys for their children. We’re looking for volunteers to be our store elves and gift wrapping elves. If you’d like to volunteer to participate with the toy store, contact Robyn Snow at (530) 242-5920.
TOY DONATIONS
We need at least 1000 toys to fill our Christmas Toy Store this year. Please donate any new, unwrapped toys for ages 0-12 at the Good News Rescue Mission Administration Building on 2842 S. Market Street.
HOLIDAY DECORATORS
We need your help decorating the Christmas Toy Store and the dining hall for the fall and for Christmas. If you enjoy decorating and making spaces look beautiful, please contact Robyn Snow at (530) 242-5920.
