Homes of Hope
Help Us Reach Our Goal of 10 Sober Living Homes
At the Good News Rescue Mission, we believe that recovery doesn’t end when treatment does. It continues—day by day, decision by decision—through community, structure, and support.
That’s why we’re working toward a bold and beautiful goal:
10 Sober Living Homes throughout our community.
Each home is a safe place where men and women can rebuild their lives after treatment. It’s where sobriety takes root, healing deepens, and long-term stability begins. But we need your help to open more doors.
You Can Be Part of Someone’s Fresh Start
We’re inviting homeowners, churches, and organizations to join us in expanding these life-giving homes. If you have a property you’re ready to release—whether through sale, donation, or creative partnership—it could become the very thing someone else is praying for.
🏡 For Individuals with Homes to Sell
Maybe it’s a rental property you’re ready to let go of.
Maybe it’s a house you’ve inherited but don’t plan to keep.
Maybe you simply want to do something meaningful with a home that’s no longer part of your future plans.
We offer three main options:
-
Seller Financing — We give you a meaningful down payment and make monthly payments over a 10-year term. You receive cash now and steady income over time, without the stress of tenants or cost of property management. We receive a place to house and help people in recovery. It’s a win-win.
- Donate a Home — Give a home as a gift to the Mission and receive a full tax write off.
-
Direct Purchase — We buy the home outright.
🏛️ For Churches, Foundations & Nonprofits
If your organization owns property, let’s talk about how that space can serve a higher purpose.

Transfer and Asset — If your church or organization is in the process of a planned dissolution you can directly transfer ownership of assets to the Mission.
Some organizations are sitting on properties they no longer need—but those very buildings could become homes that restore dignity, support sobriety, and save lives.
One Home at a Time. One Life at a Time.
Our sober living homes are not shelters. They are homes—with kitchens, chores, rent contributions, community dinners, and personal growth. Residents are sober, working, and surrounded by accountability and encouragement.
We’ve already seen incredible transformation through our first Sober Living Home—but there’s room (and need) for so much more.
Let’s reach our goal of 10 homes together.
Ready to Explore What’s Possible?
Whether you’re ready to sell, donate, or just start a conversation—we’d love to talk.
