Would you like help providing a Thanksgiving meal for your family this year? The Good News Rescue Mission is giving away Thanksgiving Meal Kits (frozen turkey with canned and boxed goods) for those who sign up. We know rising prices and inflation have made this a challenging time for many and we want to help. Sign up for a Thanksgiving Meal Kit in person at the Good News Rescue Mission.
What: Registration starts Monday, November 2, 2026, 8am to Noon, Monday through Friday (until Turkey Buck Vouchers are gone). You must register in person to receive your Thanksgiving Meal Kit during our Thanksgiving Food Giveaway
When: Pick up your meal kit on Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 3050 Veda St. at the designated time that was provided to you. Pre-registration is necessary to obtain a meal kit.
Register at: Guests Services Office, 3100 South Market St., Redding, CA (blue door)
To register for a meal kit you must bring two forms of identification: 1 proof of residence (utility bill, rental agreement, etc…), and 1 photo id (drivers license, CA ID, etc…) For questions call 530-241-5754.
