Veda Street Village Micro-Shelter Community
Project Description
Veda Street Village is a 17 unit micro-shelter village that will provide transitional non-congregate shelter to help men and women move off the streets and take the next step towards finding permanent housing. Our micro-shelter village will have two types of shelters on it. Eight Pallet shelters that will be assembled on-site when the constructions crews are ready and nine wooden shelters built off-site that will be delivered and hooked up. The village is conveniently located on the Mission Campus which allows us to utilize many of the resources already available such as daily hot meals, showers, day resource center, health clinic, and strong volunteer community.
