Good News Rescue Mission 2023 Toy Drive

We’re preparing for the annual Children’s Christmas Party at the Mission and we need your help to brighten all the little faces.

Here’s how you can help! We are in need of the following:

TOYS, BOOKS, DOLLS…WE NEED IT ALL! (Please, no stuffed toys.) Purchase NEW unwrapped gifts for children 0-12 years old, average gift value of $20. If you need barrels or boxes, please call: 530.242.5920 ext.125. Gifts due by Thursday, DECEMBER 14th. Deliver to our admin office: 2842 S. Market St., Redding.

GIFT WRAPPERS – If you consider yourself a wrapper (not rapper…unless it’s your super power), sign up to come down to the Mission and help wrap. We’ll be wrapping 1,000 toys for our community’s children. Wrapping paper and tape are provided. Please bring your own scissors! 

BAKERS – You watch the Holiday Baking Championship TV show and think you can do better. Or close to it. Now is your time to show off! How about churning out a dozen delicious cookies from your favorite recipe and bring them down to our kitchen at 3050 Veda Street on December 21st. (We need 100 dozen total!)

PARTY ELVES – Our Christmas elves will help move the kids around, hand out gifts, give out cookies, and more. This year our toy giveaway will be happening on FRIDAY, DEC. 22 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Good News Rescue Mission Chapel.
