We need 1,000 toys to help support local families create joyful memories this Christmas season
Our Christmas Toy Store once again opens for one day only on Friday, December 18, 2026. To have it up and running, we’re going to need lots of toys and the help of some very wonderful Christmas Elves. Opportunities to help include:
DONATE TOYS: Help fill up our Toy store by donating toys, books, games, dolls, and electronic games to help local families make memorable Christmas moments with their children. All toys must be NEW and unwrapped for children 0-12 years old. The average gift value should be around $20. Toys can be dropped off at our new Administrative Offices at 748 N. Market St. in Redding starting Monday, November 2nd.
All toys must be dropped off at the Administrative Offices by Friday, December 11, 2026, as the toy store opens the following week. Please note: we typically are short on items for the 10-12 age group.
BECOME A TOY STORE ELVES – We need store elves to with the check-in table , help parents shop, organize toys, refill the shelves and tidy things up. Yes, you can wear your full elf costume if you’d like. 3 hours shift from 8:30am-6pm are available.
WE NEED GIFT WRAPPING ELVES – If you consider yourself a wrapper (not a rapper…unless it’s your super power), sign up to help wrap gifts for parents shopping at our Christmas Toy Store on Friday, December 18th. 3 hours shift from 8:30am-6pm are available. Wrapping paper and tape are provided. Please bring your own scissors!
